I want to keep my info separate from my girlfriend's stuff. Can anyone help? 11-16-09 01:54. I also posted this in the DTEK60 forum, but I imagine this is more of a Hub-specific question/issue, so I've also posted it here. Hello all, I never noticed this on the Priv (or on BB10 devices, but I dont think that applies to this conversation): Each of my email accounts that is set up in the BlackBerry Hub on the DTEK60 has the 'Email sync timeframe' set to 30 days in the account menu for each account, but my accounts all appear to still be synced back to 30 days before I first set up the phone. Right now all of the accounts show emails from today back to September 29th (exactly 30 days before I set up the device). Is this a quirk, or am I misinterpreting the Hub sync interval? I don't have any issue with syncing more than 30 days of content, but I don't want to growing amount of email to eventually slow down the Hub and become a huge, tough to manage file on the device. I dunno exactly what you are asking but the I have all my accounts synced forever and there hasn't been any slow downs. Even if it does reach that point, you can clear some off your device or the server directly anyway. If you're asking what I think you are though, the sync 30 days means it's going to show you only emails from 30 days ago. Anything over 30 days, it will stop showing on your device. So for example, your email from Sept. Ek haseena thi serial ringtone zedge. 29, shouldn't be there tomorrow. It'll still be on your email service but won't appear on device. Maybe I will try forever on my dtek60 and see what happens Any idea of not sync forever, why hub would slow down? Thanks for l you do! Thank you for some clarification from Waterloo! I appreciate the response. I must be skipping the Priv days in my head and going back to the days of BIS -- I'm pretty sure any BIS account pruned the older messages unless I'm forgetting things. Now that I have set my sync timeframe to 90 days, and it has pulled those older emails, changing the sync period back to 30 days will likely cause no change then, the older 31-90 day emails will remain? It's probably all mental, but I feel like I take a battery life hit when syncing a longer timeframe of emails (and I'm talking about after the fact, not the initial battery life decrease from syncing everything. Changing it back to a shorter time frame wouldn't delete those emails, no. It should only matter for the initial sync cost. Now, the initial sync can also still take longer than you think or we notify for when managing things like message bodies and attachments.
